"Delivery Timing Could Use Improvement"
The item itself arrived in a decent timeframe and is of good quality. However, the tracking info and delivery details were pretty unclear. I got an email with tracking, but it always said they’d follow up with an update. I reached out via phone and email, and while I got a quick reply, the messages were a bit confusing. I had no clue when the package would show up, and it ended up arriving on a Sunday without any tracking update. I did receive an email from DPD that day saying it was on its way. Since it was being sent to my son's place, I had to ensure someone was home to accept the delivery. No complaints here, just a thought that it’d be great to get delivery notices a bit earlier, rather than on the actual delivery day. Thanks a lot!

"Issues with Lantern Light Blind and How We Fixed It"
We got ourselves a lantern light blind, and while putting it up was a breeze and controlling it was super simple, we ran into a bit of a snag with it closing properly. After being away on holiday for six weeks, we came back to find the battery was dead, thanks to the lack of sunshine in Scotland. The folks at Direct Blinds, especially Naomi, were really helpful; they sent us a new battery and charger along with clear instructions on resetting the limits using the remote. Everything went smoothly, and now the blind is working just like it did when we first got it. Huge thanks to the team at Direct Blinds for all their help!

"Terrible Experience with Service"
This service was just plain bad. The manual left me scratching my head and didn’t align with what I found inside the box. The remote control instructions were a mess. The crucial P1 button, which is essential for resetting the blind to connect with the remote, broke down in less than a day. It was already broken and useless within 24 hours. I won’t give a full review until I chat with customer service, but honestly, I’m really not impressed.

"Avoid the hassle and shop elsewhere"
Do yourself a favor and skip this place. The samples took nearly three weeks to arrive. We then placed an order for the blind, which took 10 business days to show up. After all that waiting, they sent us the wrong one! We were informed that the replacement would be sent out in 3-5 business days. Now, it's the 6th business day, and still no email about dispatch. From the time we ordered the sample to finally getting the right blind, it’s gonna be over 7 weeks!!

Fantastic customer support! I was missing a manufacturer label, so I sent my measurements, and they helped me choose the right blind. It took me around 15 minutes to fit it, super straightforward, and it looks amazing! Just 4 screws are needed, and all you need is a screwdriver—no drill required, and it's a breeze to set up!

Now, I ain't no DIY whiz, so I couldn't manage it myself. I got in touch again, and they took care of everything, arranging for DPD to pick it up at their own cost. They kept me in the loop the whole time, and I got it back without any charge after they repaired it. I was genuinely impressed with how the team handled everything and communicated with me. I didn't expect such excellent customer service. Big shoutout to Jake and Naomi—they truly deserve a five-star rating!

"Outstanding product with fantastic support"
These blinds are top-notch and really well constructed. I got myself 2 Lantern Lite roof lantern blinds, and let me tell ya, they were a breeze to put up, as long as you know your way around DIY and take your time to make sure everything's lined up right. They showed up right on schedule, just like they said they would. After about 9 months, I ran into a little trouble with one of the blinds. I reached out to Naomi, and without me even having to ask, she took care of ordering new parts at no cost, had them made, and delivered in just over a week. It’d be awesome if more businesses operated like this and really focused on their customers. Big thanks, and I totally recommend Skylight Blinds Direct to anyone in the market for high-quality blinds.

I figured I’d drop a quick note to suggest that anyone in need of blinds for a skylight lantern reach out to Skylight Blinds Direct. I really pondered over getting a DIY product at this price, but I’m so glad I went for it. The crew at Skylight Blinds was amazing in every aspect. "Rarely Write Reviews, But This One's Worth It"
I don’t usually pen reviews, but this business truly deserves one. After searching everywhere online, I discovered that they offered blinds suitable for my old Roto window. My online inquiry was answered quickly by their customer service team. I had tried to call earlier, and they returned my call since I missed it. The package arrived, but the packing tape had caused a bit of damage to the blind. Customer service handled this swiftly, and I received a replacement in just a week. Gotta give this company props for managing to navigate COVID challenges while also tackling the ridiculous EU export regulations. I’d definitely choose this company again.
